Your AMCA Board of Directors is excited to announce that we have been successful in negotiating a reduced registration rate of $310 USD for the 2024 IIMC Conference in Calgary, recognizing the continued disparity between the Canadian and US Dollar. This change equates to a savings of $315 USD per registration. Additionally, the IIMC will be offering a complimentary IIMC Membership (with purchase of Conference registration) to any Alberta Clerk who has never been an IIMC Member.

The Alberta Municipal Clerks Association is pleased to offer our members a Writing Effective Policies and Procedures class. Your AMCA Board has worked with Dynamic Learning to offer this class to our members at a discounted rate of over 50% off the standard registration fee. Cost is $350 and is only open to AMCA members.

This class is offered through Dynamic Learning and will be taught as a live, interactive virtual seminar offered over three half-days from 8:30am-12:30pm. This course will be offered on the Zoom platform and participants will be provided with all the materials electronically ahead of time.

There is a maximum of 14 participants per class. 

The 2024 AMCA AGM has been scheduled as a virtual meeting to be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.

A meeting invitation including the link with instructions for joining the AGM virtually will be sent out to all current AMCA members closer to the meeting date. In the meantime, if you have any questions feel free to reach out via email to: admin@albertamunicipalclerks.com.

The Board of Directors is excited to announce that our Annual Conference will be held in the beautiful town of Canmore April 23 – 25, 2025. The host hotel will be the Coast Canmore Hotel and Convention Centre; stay tuned for registration link, hotel block and presenter information.
